My Top 5 Favorite Fruits

List your top 5 favorite fruits.

When I saw this prompt, I knew I had to weigh in!

Some of you may know that I started Whole30. As of today while I’m writing this, I’m on Day 15, which is halfway through Whole30! I’ve been eating lots of fruit, so what a great way to answer this prompt and celebrate my halfway mark.

Watermelon ๐Ÿ‰

Especially in the summertime, a fresh watermelon is just… PERECT! I could eat this all day. Some of my favorite childhood memories included eating watermelon. After a parade, after swimming, to cool off on a hot day… There are so many great times to eat it. I’m still learning how to cut watermelons, but practice makes perfect, so I guess I need to buy more.

Strawberries ๐Ÿ“

Growing up, my mom had a strawberry garden. Eating strawberries right out of the garden was a staple in my childhood. I hope to have a garden soon so I can grow my own strawberries.

Canteloupe ๐Ÿงก

Canteloupe was one of those fruits I wouldn’t think about until I saw it on a fruit platter. But lately, I’ve been buying them and I haven’t been able to get enough! I love how soft and swift they are. And I love having diced canteloupe cold out of the fridge.

Raspberries ๐Ÿ’•

Raspberries are very delicate, sometimes they fall apart by being washed ๐Ÿ˜‚ but they are soooo good. Especially in yogurt. Anything raspberry flavored I will go for!

Bananas ๐ŸŒ

Hot take – I like bananas when they are green. Better yet, green and cold! But give bananas a week or so and they are great for banana bread.

Honorable Mentions

  • Apples ๐ŸŽ
  • Mangos ๐Ÿฅญ
  • Grapes ๐Ÿ‡

Those are my favorite 5 fruits! What are yours? ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ“๐Ÿˆ๐ŸŽ
